Tech Mahindra is using facial recognition for attendance; Will also measure employees’ mood using moodometer

Tech Mahindra’s Noida office employees don’t need to swipe cards anymore. They can simply sign in using the facial-recognition terminal.

What’s your mood today?

The tool would help the organisation measure the mood of employees when they use the system through a functionality called “moodometer”. The system can recognise nine different facial expressions and the collated data can be used to reflect the mood of the workforce.

If your office starts implementing this system, how would you react?
