PriceBaba is a ‘local price search’ engine that brings the offline retailer price online – i.e. a better online discovery of the offline world. Or better, think of it as a verticalized JustDial sort of service that only (in its current form) caters to gadget segment.
Apple is all set to launch its new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus range of devices on 15th October Midnight in India. The new iPhone 6s is priced between Rs 62,000 and Rs 82,000 while the 6s Plus model is priced between Rs 72,000 and Rs 92,000. This is Apple’s fastest rollout of iPhone to India.
Out of top 150 phones as per Pricebaba, 94 products were cheaper online whereas the rest 56 products were cheaper offline. Samsung, Sony and Lava had more number of products sold at a cheaper price offline. Other brands like Apple and Micromax were found at a cheaper price online.
Seems that MySmartPrice is going after PriceBaba in the offline space, while the later company is growing its online presence
