The book, ‘Cosmos’ is regarded as one of the best science-themed books ever written and is often credited as the catalyst for popularizing the science-themed literature. About the author

Carl Sagan is an astronomer and cosmologist and has also written several books on this subject. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1960 with the dissertation “Physical Studies of Planets” from the University of Chicago. He was included in the New Jersey Hall of Fame – 2009 and received the coveted Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction in 1978 for his book, The Dragons of Eden. Some of his other famous books include Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space and The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark2 .
