Google launches Optimize : Free A/B testing tool for all

Google has launched Google Optimize, Free A/B Testing tool for all ( a much toned-down version of Optimize360)

The Optimize visual editor allows for WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editing so you can change just about anything on your site with a drag and a drop. And more advanced users will enjoy the ability to edit raw HTML or add JavaScript or CSS rules directly in the editor.

Surely gets interesting for the likes of VWO and other companies in similar space.

  1. Google will definitely eat up some of the business. Reasons – Optimizely provides only 30 day trial whereas Google has introduced a freemium model. Startups who only want basic A/B testing and not MVT will prefer a free tool.
