Germany contributes Rs 630 crore for reviving Kochi canals

The German govt has offered to help the city to clean and revive its water bodies and integrate various transportation modes like the waterways, buses, and metro rail. The project is part of Germany’s effort to develop smart cities across the world. The total project cost is estimated to be Rs 801 crore.
