DPS Faridabad Goes Digital With Tablet Based Learning For Students

While the Government is boosting digital programs across the length and breadth of the country and fostering it across different sectors, DPS Faridabad has announced the introduction of tablets for their students in partnership with IGNITOR which will help their students learn from digital textbooks.

The students will be provided with a Digital Learning Platform loaded with “next-generation” digital textbooks as per the school curriculum.

These books are enriched with additional study material provided by teachers and multimedia content from different publishers which students can access anytime, anywhere.

The BYOD (Bring your Own Device) policy means that students can bring their own choice of device or even their existing device where the solution would be loaded.

The Tablet Based Learning Solution will empower the teachers to analyze and monitor students’ performance on a daily basis. With the help of analytics, the teacher gets insights into every student’s learning patterns and gaps.

Anil Kumar, Principal of DPS Faridabad, said, “The school has always been harnessing the power of technology through multiple initiatives. Last year, we had supported the Udaan initiative by CBSE and this experience opened our eyes to the possibilities around tablets. We feel this technology will be very beneficial since it enables One-on-One, Anytime Anywhere Learning and brings the students closer to subjects, teachers and parents. We are extremely happy about IGNITOR’s Tablet based learning solutions, as this initiative engages the students and brings about good learning outcomes through their innate love for technology.”

The IGNITOR Learning Platform is used in 110 campuses of educational institutions such as St. Georges College Mussoorie, Oakridge International, Modern School, Chirec, Narayana Schools, SRM University, VIT, NTTF, Aakash Institute and Career Launcher.

  1. Best use of new technologies in education system. Such in the new technologies most of the schools are using mobile apps for better communication between parent teacher & students. Like a school management app (mylyapp) which is used for better communication & school management system.
