Bangalore based Social recruiting company Whistle Talk has raised $400,000 from Hyderabad Angels. The investment was led by Hyderabad Angels member, Raghu Bathina.

WhistleTalk is a referral hiring application that helps employees and hiring managers to quickly find talent. The company’ has built a matching and virality engine which shares job postings with people who are most likely to benefit from the posting on your social network.

Ajay Nema, Co-founder and CTO at WhistleTalk said,

“WhistleTalk uses a highly scalable, distributed computing engine to search thousands of profiles in real time and recommend relevant applicants, reachable through the social network of each employee.”

Vinoo Chacko, an ISB Alumni, is the co-founder and CEO of WhistleTalk which was launched 60 days ago. The company has a 10 member team right now.

“The consumer side of the product where employees look for jobs or host jobs themselves can be used worldwide. For the enterprise side where we manage their job referrals and hiring, we will focus on India first” Chacko told NBW. The funds will be used to run operations and go to market, he added.
