Telecom major Vodafone India has launched a Vodafone Music, a streaming service for its subscribers. The service was launched in partnership with Hungama Digital, a company which provides Bollywood and South Asian entertainment content.
Music streaming site Dhingana might be shutting down. The company has been struggling to monetize while record labels have hiked licensing costs.
Spuul’s users in Pakistan and India will have access to Star Plus’ content including daily soaps like Diya Aur Bati Hum, Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi – Meri Bhabhi and Pyaar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and reality show Junior Master Chef among others.
Post this partnership movie lovers would be able to enjoy latest bollywood flicks such as Inkaar, Oh My God and Jab We Met along including regional hits such as Samanyudu, on their computers and mobile devices, the company said.
