Samsung Tab 2 310 to launch this month; Priced at Rs 23,000
Samsung is known for changing the face of the mobile world with its innovative products. And it is doing the same for tablets too! While there have been hoards of tablets launched in the past two months Samsung had kept mum after showcasing the Samsung Tab 2 310 at the Samsung Forum 2012 earlier this year.
And now they have announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-based Tab will launch in India sometime soon this month. The Samsung Tab 2 310 has a 7 inches WSVGA PLS TFT touch screen with a screen resolution of 1024*600 pixels and looks sleeker and thinner than its predecessor. Additionally the slate is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and packs 1GB of RAM. It boasts of 3 mega pixels primary camera and VGA front camera for video calling and video chatting, and comes loaded with the Samsung cloud AllShare play service and TouchViz UI etc. Connectivity options include Bluetooth technology v 3.0, USB 2.0 host and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct.
The tablet will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB user memory variations and is expected to be competitively priced at Rs 23,000 approximately. This news comes in exactly a few days after the company shelved the Samsung Nexus launch in India and announced the availability of its flagship product Samsung Galaxy SIII in June this year.
