5 Indian Startups Credii, Seat 14A, School Admissions & Tushky Make it to 6th Batch of 500Startups
Five Indian startups, including Credii, Seat 14A, School Admissions, Tushky and PriceBaba have made it to the sixth batch of 500Startups incubation program.
The highest number of companies from outside the United States chosen for the program are from India. In all, 28 companies were chosen for the batch.

Here’s a brief on what the five companies are about.
This startup by Vamshi Mokshagundam and Ayan Barua was chosen by 500Startups Venture partner Pankaj Jain during the Sharktank event organised by Nextbigwhat and Nasscom. At the event, startups pitched to investors live and in front of an large audience. The startup makes it easier for small businesses to choose software best suited for them without having to hire costly consultants.
PriceBaba is a product research engine that helps you shop in your vicinity. Founded by Annkur P Agarwal and Tirthesh Ganatra raised seed round in January from a group of five entrepreneur-investors led by Karamveer Singh of Aayush Software. The location based price comparison engine is one of the few differentiated players in the crowded space. More here.
The Delhi based startup makes school admissions easier. The startup was founded by Puja and Rajan Arora who are raising two children.
This company helps men find handmade clothing and accessories for different season. A strong theme runs through the season on the site.
Tushky is a self service online platform which helps people monetize their free time. The company has clocked over $100,000 in revenues in 9 months. Mumbai based Tushky aims to take the entire concept of spending your leisure time doing something new and interesting to a whole new level. Read more here.
