IIT Bombay Incubated kWatt Solutions Secures $500K In Funding

IIT Bombay incubated startup, kWatt Solutions has secured US $500K in funding from an Indore based real estate house.

“We will use the funds to grow exponentially in the verticals and expand in terms of business and team,” says Chetan Singh Solanki, Founder of kWatt Solutions and Professor at IIT Bombay.

Incubated in IIT Bombay’s SINE, kWatt focused on making make renewable energy affordable and economically viable.

kWatt Solutions offers customized comprehensive solar energy solutions right from design and engineering to installation and maintenance with in-house training for people in the solar industry. kSPL was initiated with the idea to cater to the huge open market of power consumers in the kilowatt range, which also resonates with the company’s name.

    I heard about this Kwatt solutions pvt limited, when CS Solanki sir came to meet us and addressed about the future in solar energy in India for upcoming years @ NISE on dated 05/10/2015. Which was very inspirational to us.
