Hiring has gone social and companies have started tapping into social networks like Facebook to hire candidates, or atleast to get the word out.
Hireplug is a social recruiting technology which helps companies plug the hiring gap and help them reach top talent on 40+ social networks. There are 2 basic components of it –

Employees/recruiters can spread jobs to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with single click. They can further spread these jobs on 40+ social networks. Their friends can also apply from within Facebook. Hireplug tracks and reports everything – job views, employee referrals, job sharing activity. candidate sources etc.
In essence, this is win-win for both – employers can reach top talent in employees social circle and employees get the referral reward!
If you look at the current state, job boards do not bring high quality candidates (unless they are very niche). In terms of size, LinkedIn is quite smaller than Facebook and FB doesn’t really have any search capability to approach candidates. Hireplug solves this by spreading it’s app and jobs on Facebook and 40+ social networks.
