The mobile accelerator program, GSF, has started with 8 startups selected from a list of more than 500 applications from across the Globe.
The mobile accelerator startups selected are Jools (mobile jewelry store), NewsBytes (mobile platform for news), PocketAd (social network for addictive casual games), TalkMore (mobile app to simplify using mobile phones), Magictap (cloud based IOT platform) Playselfie (mobile app to share stories through selfies), Rentongo (platform for renting goods), Townista (mobile app to discover and book activities in the city).
GSF’s mobile accelerator program will connect entrepreneurs to peers, mentors, advisors and investors in India, Singapore, SF, Hamburg and Berlin.
The selected startups will go through an intense mentoring and coaching program by a diverse group of entrepreneurs and industry experts. The program will start with 7 weeks in India, followed by 4 weeks in SF, 1 week in Germany, and finally a week in Singapore.
The startups will be connected with angel investors, different seed and venture capital firms, through rigorous workshops, one-on-one office hours, office visits and informal networking mixers.
