Customers receive deals on product categories that include books, consumer electronics, home and kitchen products, fashion.
The Deals Page gives its customers three kinds of deal offerings – deal of the day with deals every 24 hours, limited period lightning deals and the best deals that run for a couple of days.

The last time there were mass deals offered at GOSF in 2013, Snapdeal saw a 10x increase in sales, Myntra saw a 3.5x increase in revenues within 24 hours and Amazon itself saw a 5x increase in overall sales volume across categories.
How Great a Deal are Amazon’s Deals?
In electronics, we picked a product on which Flipkart too had an offer on. The JBL Micro II Portable Speaker. Amazon gave it a 64% discount. It retails for Rs 900 on Amazon with the deal, and has 52% off on Flipkart where it was selling for Rs 1190, and the lowest price was Rs 1040.
Another product given under deal of the in Amazon was these Jabra speakers with 32% off its MRP. Flipkart had the lowest price for the product at Rs 4298, without a deal.
The JBL speakers were about Rs 100 odd cheaper, while the ones on the Jabra speakers were costlier. The price difference between the deals offered are not too big.
So how great is this offer on products to a consumer? Is Amazon just creating a lot of noise about nothing?
